Leap through the ruins. Outsmart your rival.
Make the wild your shortcut.
A side-scrolling obstacle race where movement is the strategy. Two racers share one course, but they don’t have to take the same path. The first to reach the finish wins.
Reach for the upper route. Save a charged leap for the gap that matters.
Put the course in motion. Move mechanisms and turn an opening into a lead.
Official Axie starter artwork. WILDLEAP movement abilities are custom game mechanics, not Axie Origins combat abilities.
Two racers. One shared course.
Equip three mines. Plan your move.
Three charges. Make each one count.
Find your route. Beat your rival.
Your route, your timing, your traps. Small decisions can change who reaches the finish first.

Take the catapult route or work with the spring cart. Routes split and reconnect, so a different path can become your next overtake.
Place a timed mine where your rival is likely to land. Blast Mine pushes them away, Bounce Mine sends them upward, and Vortex Mine pulls them inward.
Hold and release Shift to use a boost. Momo gains height; Buba gains a stronger push. Spend one to recover, or keep it for the move that wins the race.
A local browser race against a scripted AI opponent on Rootbound Ruins, with preparation, mines, boosts and physics-driven obstacles. Online human-vs-human racing is part of the roadmap, not this demo.
Try the playable build →Inspect the six official parts of each starter, arrange mine slots, manage mine instances and transfer them between your local Axies. A level-one mine upgrade costs 100 demo coins and adds 10% force without changing its fuse or range. Transferring a mine removes its mine upgrade; the part level remains.
This is a browser-local prototype collection. Demo coins are not tokens, upgrades are not NFT evolution, and a transfer here is not an on-chain transaction. Choices are saved in this browser when local storage is available.
Start with a playable race. Grow into a world of routes, rivals and expressive Axie playstyles.
The core race is in your hands.
Expand and refine the core experience.
Take the rivalry beyond the demo.
Roadmap items are development intentions, not features available in this build. Scope and order may change after playtesting; release dates are not yet committed.
A keyboard, an Axie, and a route worth trying.
Hit Play now. Choose your starter and arrange your three mine slots in the preparation room.
Jump between platforms, use mechanisms and watch your rival. Pick the route that suits your next move.
Outpace the opponent to the goal. If you fall or enter a reset portal, recover and make another attempt.
Jump onto the cup. Hold W to charge, use A/D to adjust your aim, then release W to launch. Press S to cancel the charge.
You must be grounded on an allowed surface. Mines cannot be placed in the protected starting area, while their slot is cooling down, or while that slot already has an active mine. The gray overlay on the slot shows the cooldown.
You return to a recovery position. Dark portals are reset hazards, not the finish line. Avoid them and continue toward the goal; the course does not require a fixed order of challenges.
This demo is a local race against AI, not online multiplayer. Starter Axies are available without an NFT purchase. Online PvP and deeper player-owned Axie support are planned separately.
The course is part of your strategy: pushing a cart changes a launch point, a catapult creates a shortcut, and a timed mine can interrupt a landing. Combine movement, route choice and interference—not simply running faster.
